Hi Fellow Leader,

For years, I've contemplated starting an email newsletter. And for years, I've come up with excuses for why I couldn’t or shouldn’t do so. Well, this is the year the excuses stop and the writing begins.  

If you’re taking the time to read this preview edition, I'm hoping the following two things are true about you:

1. You see yourself as a student of leadership.

2. You wouldn't mind occasionally reading my musings on the topic.

If I’m wrong to make one or both of those assumptions, forgive me! You’re free to leave this page and never return. 😊

However, if those are fair assumptions (at least for the moment), and you’d like to give this newsletter a try, here is what you can expect from the content:

• Thoughtful - No straw man arguments or click-bait takes.  

• Relevant - Topics you’ll find interesting and applicable.

• Concise - Each one will be readable in five minutes or less.

There’s one more thing I want to make clear – I won’t be writing from the perspective of a  “master leader” who now wants to enlighten you. Instead, think of us as fellow travelers on the road to a “life well led.”  

The first official edition explores a leader’s relationship with failure. I hope to see you there!
